Alive08 will be offering 6 seminars (2 per day) over the course of the festival that will challenge and encourage youth groups, individuals, and young adults. The 2 daily, 45 minute seminars are designed to help attendees affirm 3 things: know what you believe, live it out and share your faith with others. These seminars will be interactive, creative, and challenging. It’s aimed at youth, but anyone can attend. These seminars are included free with your admission to Alive 08!
Thursday – June 19 (10 am and 2 pm)
KNOW IT – Know what you believe! Understand your faith and the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and daily reading God’s Word. We will discuss using historical evidence, science and facts to defend your faith.
Friday, June 20 (10 am & 2 pm)
LIVE IT – Live out your faith through actions and finding a place in your local church! Discuss creative ways to serve, give generously of time and resources, partner in missions and in simple daily interaction with your circle of friends, neighbors, students and co-workers.
Saturday, June 21 (10 am & 2 pm)
SHARE IT – Learn how to articulate your faith in Jesus Christ and be able to recognize open doors to share. Discuss ways to start a conversation about your relationship with Jesus Christ and lead others to Christ!
Alive wants you to be able to enjoy great concerts, worship, camping and recreation, but also we want to provide you with relevant, challenging ways to influence your friends, family and community with the love of Jesus Christ. Our biggest mission at Alive is to make sure the life changing power of Jesus Christ impacts us all and we remember to share it with those around us with God’s help! We could also title the seminars…KNOW JESUS!, LIVE FOR JESUS! And SHARE JESUS! This is our goal at Alive.
